Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away,
Now it looks as through they’re here to stay,
Oh I believe in yesterday
Suddenly, I’m not half the man I used to be,
There’s a shadow hanging over me
Oh yesterday came suddenly

I like how she came out, love her dress ;3 His face is nice, but I messed up hands, and just now realised that there's something wrong with his legs :> The border is nice anyway. And my first-bow-ever.
It will be long before I'll upload something new, since I'm kinda busy thinking about my dark and gloomy future.

I like the mood of the pic.
Regarding the things to improve, you already meantioned almost all of them.
For your first bow it's ok, but bear in mind that looks like a short bow, not the kind of bow the elves use. Their bow is bigger, not like a D shaped but more like |)
I think the quiver is too large.
For a long bow, the arrows should be a little more up on the quiver, since they have the length of his arm + half the chest.
So much details? I'm an archer myself xD
